17 October 1999. Two
BR 4 tanks were on the line, each with four coaches. 80079 failed again. 80098 was
detached from the second train and is seen near the 18 1/4 MP slowly going up
the bank to assist 80079. Later the combined train is seen at Blaenau
Ffestiniog
11 April 1999 Ex LMS
class 5, 45407 shows how it should be done. Again near the 18 1/4 mile post on
the 1 in 47 bank, No problem.
